Larry Gilbert is a lifelong entrepreneur and founder and CEO of Event Network—the industry leader for managed retail at iconic cultural attractions and lifestyle resorts.
In 1997, Larry developed a relationship with the group that recovered the RMS Titanic. The organization sought a partner to operate gift shops to accompany their traveling artifact exhibition. Larry opened the first of many stores for them in Boston in July of 1998. The retail business expanded into museums and a wide variety of experiential, historical, and lifestyle experiences, eventually becoming Event Network. With over 100 partnerships and 1,500 employees, Event Network is a turnkey retail solution that has built its business by maintaining strategic, long-term relationships with world-class organizations.
